8 brocades
The 8 Brocades also referred to as Ba Duan Jin is one of the most popular Qigong practices dating back nearly 1000 years during the Song Dynasty in China. Qigong pronounced “Chee Gong”, is an ancient form of exercise that incorporates mindful movement, meditation, and breathing practices
The Eight Brocades is considered by many to be a form of Medical Qigong. Medical Qigong is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Each of the Eight Brocade movements places an emphasis on healing certain areas related to the physical and energetic body. TCM emphasizes the healing of specific Zang/Fu organs and their related Acupuncture Meridians.
Ancient texts reveal that the Eight Brocades was also a form of Qigong designed to eliminate fatigue. Several of the eight exercises are designed specifically to eliminate fatigue and harness energy (qi) which allows for greater longevity.
There are numerous benefits from the Eight Brocades Qigong Practice including improved energy, vitality, bone density, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and longevity to name a few."

qi cultivation
We will learn to cultivate Qi (life force energy) using ancient practices that are now better understood by science. This class will include practices that teach you how to feel, cultivate and use Qi energy.
We will discuss how to:
• Clear your energetic channels to allow for better energy flow
• Increase your electromagnetic field and life force energy
• Understand the science behind why these practices work
The practice will include:
• Mindful movement warm ups that activate your myofascial meridians
• Supreme Science Qigong Forms including: Empty force, Spiraling, Cloud Hands, Around the World and Full Body Cleanse
• Seated meditations and advanced breath work practice.
There will be a practice video showing the forms and weekly emails sent to explain details about the practice, theories and principles.
5 elements
This class includes practices that teach you how to feel and cultivate Qi energy using 5 Elements Forms.
We will discuss:
o What each element represents
o Personality traits that accompany each element
o Gaining awareness of the emotional affects imbalances within each element may play in our lives
There will be weekly emails sent out to explain details about the practice, theories and principles.
The practice will include:
o Mindful movement warm ups that activate your myofascial meridians
o Supreme Science Qigong 5 Element Forms including:
Empty Force Neigong - FIRE
Brush Hands- WATER
Protecting Shen- METAL
Warrior’s Bow- WOOD
Breathing Practice- EARTH
o Seated Meditation & Visualization
