World Tai Chi & Qigong Day

Date: Saturday April 26th, 2025 10-1130am

Location: Zach D. Taylor Park 633 NW 52nd St; OKC

Cost: Free

We come together with the purpose of bringing harmony to our city and planet through the practice of Qigong and Tai Chi; we do this in a collaborative effort with cities around the globe.

Join us on April 26th to experience Tai Chi, Qigong and Mindfulness Practices.

The event is from 10 to 1130 am at Zach D. Taylor Park. Weather permitting, this will be an outdoor event where we will practice movement and stillness meditations together. Bring a yoga mat and/or beach towel and water.

We will begin with a seated opening meditation, move into a standing Qigong practice and then close with breathwork.

Oklahoma City will be one of many cities doing this worldwide.

On the "last Saturday of April" at 10 am local time worldwide, events begin ... starting in the earliest time zones of New Zealand where mass Tai Chi and Qigong teach-ins and exhibitions are held. Then, as the planet turns events unfold all across Australia, Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, and finally ending this worldwide wave of Qi and health education, with the final events in Hawaii.

Mission of World Tai Chi Qigong Day (WTCQD):"Educating the planet on how TO BOOST THE WORLD'S IMMUNE SYSTEM, with scientifically proven natural health practices."

"Via this organizing hub of WorldTaiChiDay.org, and the mass global event we organize annually in 100s of cities in over 80 nations, known as World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, we educate millions around the planet about Tai Chi & Qigong's benefits; how to find local classes; how to get the most from those classes; and we consult health care, corporate, government and educational institutions about integrating these health tools into society at all levels."
