Communication Skills
It is important that we learn how to express our thoughts clearly to others. Frustration can come when we feel we aren’t able to express ourselves. When we understand our own thoughts and motivations and plan ways to speak to others which clearly express our thoughts and ideas we can have more productive relationships and a sense of greater peace. During the initial evaluation if relationships are something that seems to be causing stress for a client, we encourage thought-journaling and cognitive therapy techniques that will help foster healthier relationships.
