Fun With the Family

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

Here are some fairly recent pictures.

This one was at a family reunion on my mom’s side.  From left to right: My mom, me and Dylan, my brother in law, my sister  and niece

This was taken at the Oklahoma City zoo, my son and I went with my cousin’s wife and their son Easton.

This one is at the Oklahoma Science Museum (what I knew as the Omniplex when I was a kid).  We sat in on a live “explosion” show and this is Dylan and his cousin Trinity hanging out with the robot after the show.

Business is Expanding

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

Well I am excited to say that I have been seeing clients on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s out of Spirit House Yoga at 5107 N Shartel since the beginning of June.  Their website is www.spirithouseyoga.com.  They have a room that I have been renting to work on massage clients.    Now, I will also have an excellent location for exercise therapy working out of a personal training studio called The Obvious Group located within Northpark Mall starting the first week of August.  Their website is www.obviousgroup.org

Onther exciting venture I’ve been exploring is reconnecting with a business associate from the DC area where I used to live.  The plan is to start up an Active Duty Fitness For Women Site here in Oklahoma City sometime in the fall.  We are working out all the details now.  If you want more information on the women’s boot camp go to www.activedutyfitness.com and you will get an idea of how the program will be implemented here in the city.

Stay well and keep in touch with questions and updates!

Just a Thought

Monday, July 6th, 2009

Time turns gray

And slips away

As shadows do

On a dreary day

The years pass

And the world turns

History being made

Leaving burns

From the dying rose

Silent anger cries

Just wilting lifeless pedals

Like an unhappy old man who dies

Without the love

We all must see

Unrest and madness

I fancy thee

The falling rain

Taps into pain

Yet for some

It keeps them sane

This world brings chaos

And turns us mad

Without our creator’s love

We will forever be sad
